The Bulls have shut Zach LaVine (knee) down for the rest of the season.
The Bulls don't have enough practice time left to get LaVine back to full speed before the season ends, so there's no sense in pushing him. It was a mixed bag for him this year, as he finished outside of the top-150 in 9-cat leagues almost entirely because of poor shooting through 24 games. LaVine will finish at 38.3 percent from the field on 14.3 attempts per game, but the rest of his numbers aren't that bad — 16.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.2 blocks, 1.8 threes and 1.8 turnovers in 27.3 minutes per game. He also shot .813 from the line and .341 from deep, so he should be more of a middle-round selection next season assuming he enters at full health. There were games where fatigue was a factor and LaVine just didn't have his legs, which hopefully will not be an issue going forward. Denzel Valentine, David Nwaba, Justin Holiday and Sean Kilpatrick will split the wing minutes for the rest of the year.
