Zaza Pachulia told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne that he’ll be ready to play when the Finals tip off.
Pachulia missed half of the Western Conference Finals with a heel injury but now has nine days to rest and heal as the Warriors completed their sweep of the Spurs. His return will push Patrick McCaw and JaVale McGee back into reserve roles and the pair may be in tough for playing time if it’s the Cavs who advance. Pachulia’s main responsibility will be containing Tristan Thompson on the glass, so he’d better hope he’s at full health before taking on that task.
