The Bulls provided a first look at their new jerseys on Wednesday that prominently featured Dwyane Wade, meaning the team remains unlikely to pursue a buyout of the veteran guard.
There was speculation that the team would try to dump Wade after the Jimmy Butler trade sent Chicago down the rebuild path, but they have remained insistent that there’s no intentions to buy out their star. His place on a roster that’s designed to lose games while developing young talent is questionable, but he’ll be leaned on heavily as the team’s leader in this transition period. Wade will be a safe middle round play until the team gets back to full health, in which case his fantasy outlook becomes much murkier.
