The Suns are experimenting with different positional groups in Summer League in an effort to get Dragon Bender and Marquese Chriss on the floor at the same time.
Bender will likely play both forward spots, while Chriss might spend some time at power forward and center. Bender has the skill as both a shooter and ball handler to play minutes at the three, though he’ll likely spend most of his career at the four once he adds strength. Chriss, has explosive athleticism, but is till raw enough that the Suns are likely to experiment with where he best fits on the court. Both players have tremendous upside in fantasy, and should be considered early in rookie drafts, but neither is expected to have significant value in redraft leagues.
