The Memphis Grizzlies announced the signings of Tony Wroten, Troy Williams, Wayne Selden Jr. and D.J. Stephens.
We wouldn’t recommend Wroten buying a house just yet, or even signing an apartment lease. After playing for the Philadelphia 76ers in December, Wroten was waived after eight games in December. The New York Knicks signed Wroten to a two-year deal with no guaranteed money but waived Wroten to make room for Derrick Rose. The Grizzlies claimed Wroten off waivers, only to cut him in July. The Grizzlies selected Wroten 25th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft. Since that time, Wroten has appeared in 145 NBA games for both the Grizzlies and the Philadelphia 76ers.
D.J. Stephens went undrafted in 2013 out of Memphis and has spent time in the NBA’s D-League on the Canton Charge and Iowa Energy. Wayne Selden Jr. and Troy Williams both left college in their junior seasons and went undrafted this season. From a fantasy perspective, there is nothing to see here.
