Opponents have been giving Jaylen Brown a lot of space on the perimeter and he has been working on his 3-point jumper with Celtics coaches as a result.
“I don’t think he’s ever been a high-volume 3-point shooter,” coach Mica Shrewsberry said. “But early on in his career, those are the shots he’s going to get, because teams aren’t going to close out on him as hard.” Brown has always been known for his strong driving ability, so naturally opponents have played off of him and dared him to pop a three. He answered by shooting 50% on threes on his last eight attempts in the past two games, so clearly he’s finding some comfort in his stroke. Brown is a good player and is showing it while Crowder is sidelined. He is an interesting fantasy asset for sure.
