• The Jazz plan to sign guard Naz Mitrou-Long to a two-way contract after waiving Nate Wolters on Friday.

Mitrou-Long said he turned down lucrative offers to play overseas to live out his dream of playing in the NBA and now he’s back with the Jazz after being waived by them in the preseason. In 20 G-League games, the undrafted rookie out of Iowa State is posting a respectable 15.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.6 triples, but shooting only 36.7 percent from the field. He is a long-shot to get meaningful minutes on the Jazz.
