Jordan Clarkson is interested to see who the Lakers pick in Thursday’s draft and told Spectrum SportsNet’s Mike Bresnahan that he’d work to fit in with whoever the team chooses.
Clarkson served as a combo guard last season and made his fair share of starts down the stretch though he made only 19 on the full season. The Lakers have plenty of backcourt guys and will likely add another in the draft, whether that’s Markelle Fultz or Lonzo Ball, meaning Clarkson will again have to adjust to a new role. He was reportedly on the trading block earlier this summer as L.A. looks to clear some minutes for their next prospect, so he may not get the chance to work with the No. 2 selection. A trade would allow him to maintain his fantasy value while a bench role with the Lakers might render him as a late round fantasy play.
