Marc J. Spears reported for ESPN that Malik Monk is doubtful to play in Summer League.
Monk has suffered a sprained left ankle which occurred during a pre-draft workout. With a long offseason ahead of him it may be smart to let him take as much time as needed to be 100 percent for his rookie season. Monk had a stellar freshman season for Kentucky and was drafted 11th by the Hornets and is ready to show the league that he should not have slipped that far.
