Undrafted Nevada PF Cameron Oliver has signed a multi-year, free-agent deal with the Houston Rockets according to ESPN’s Chris Haynes.
The 20-year-old averaged 16.0 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.6 blocks in 31.9 minutes per game (35 games) on 51.9 percent shooting from the field (38.4 percent from three). The former Grant High School standout in Sacramento wasn’t selected in the 2017 NBA Draft but was still rewarded for his talent following the draft. He was one of the premier shot blockers in all of college basketball last season and was a big reason for Nevada’s breakout success; it’s a great pickup for the Rockets.
