The Nuggets are eager to sign guard Gary Harris to a contract extension this offseason.
Harris has enjoyed his best season to date, averaging career highs in points, rebounds, assists and shooting percentage. “I still don’t think the league appreciates how good he is and how young he is,” Nuggets general manager Tim Connelly said. Connelly would go on to say, “Gary’s going to be here for a long, long time.” It is clear that the Nuggets as an organization are very optimistic regarding Harris’ future in Denver, meaning he will be a nice mid- to late-round target for next season.
