• The Pacers had until October 16th but picked up the fourth-year option on Myles Turner‘s rookie deal.

This was simply a formality and the 21-year-old center will earn $3.4 for the final year of his rookie deal. The Pacers were kind enough to pick up the option back in August instead of waiting until the official deadline, something that shows their commitment to build around the impressive young star. Turner averaged 14.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game last year, missing all but one regular season game and he’s projected to be off the board in the second round in fantasy drafts.
