The Boston Herald’s Mark Murphy is hearing that the Celtics might have interest in Jared Sullinger.
Sullinger is obviously familiar to the organization, having spent the first four years of his career in Boston. He was waived by the Suns after a deadline trade from Toronto. Sully would certainly help the C’s rebounding problem, especially considering that Boston has already missed out on Andrew Bogut and ruled out Terrence Jones. On the other hand, he’s still getting up to speed following a preseason foot injury and would be unlikely to carve out a real spot in a crowded Celtics rotation. Leave him on the wire no matter what happens.
