According to EuroHoops.net, CSKA Moscow is trying to convince Milos Teodosic to spurn NBA offers by making him the highest paid player in European basketball with a three year, €12 million contract.
Teodosic has long been thought of as one of the best players on earth not in the NBA and he’s appeared close to coming stateside at several points this offseason. The playmaking point guard has been connected to the Heat, Kings, Nets, Jazz, and Grizzlies, among others, and would have no problems finding a nice role to start his NBA career. Whether the 30-year-old wants to uproot his life or not is up for debate, and CSKA Moscow appears set on making him a competitive financial offer to help persuade him. He could produce fantasy value on a guard deprived team, but that would depend on where exactly he signs. The marquee international free agent will have plenty of offers to sift through this summer.
