Marc Spears of ESPN is reporting that the Hawks have agreed to trade Dwight Howard and the 31st pick to the Hornets in exchange for Miles Plumlee, Marco Belinelli and the 41st pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft.
D12 is making his way to his third team in three years, becoming a wrecking ball and taking everything in his path. The move allows Cody Zeller to move back over to power forward, which is his natural position. The Hawks salary drops to $59.6 million in guaranteed contracts but Paul Millsap and Tim Hardaway Jr. (both free agents) are would get them to the salary cap. Somehow, Miles Plumlee still has $37.5 million left on his contract.
