• Marcus Morris
    PF, New York Knicks

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Clippers may still look to acquire Marcus Morris via trade after whiffing on him during free agency.

Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe mentioned an offer that would include Maurice Harkless, Patrick Patterson and a future first-round pick for Morris. It's not far-fetched to deduce the Clippers having continued interested in Marcus Morris as a floor spacer and potential starting PF, even if this offer seems like an overpay for a player who is clearly padding his stats on a terrible (and terribly coached) Knicks team. Besides, is he that much better than Moe Harkless to justify this deal? The Clippers will dangle their draft pick from next year and the Knicks will exhaust possibilities to move Morris, so this won't be the last we hear about this trade, even if the particular details will likely chance.
