• Unrestricted free agent Isaiah Canaan and the Bulls agreed to a two-year, $2.2 million deal on Tuesday.

We’re not sure why the Bulls grabbed another sticky-fingered chucker but Canaan can at least stretch the floor.  At the price it’s a fine move even though the fit isn’t great.  He’ll just have to learn to catch and shoot because he’ll never be allowed to dribble.

  • James Harden
    PG, Houston Rockets

Jonathan Feigen reports that the Rockets are optimistic that James Harden (left thigh contusion) will play on Wednesday against the Blazers.

That would stop Harden's missed games streak at two if he can get back by Wednesday, and to much rejoicing by those that roster him, at that.

  • Thon Maker
    C, Detroit Pistons

Thon Maker went to the locker room in the first quarter of Monday's game and returned soon after with a bandage over his right eye.

It appears that Maker will play through the injury, so there's seemingly no worry here.
