The Clippers have made the re-signings of Ivica Zubac and Rodney McGruder official.
Zubac is believed to be returning on a four-year deal worth $28 million. He was gifted to the Clippers by the Lakers last season, and while there are concerns about how Zubes can hold up against elite competition, a young, capable center isn't a bad thing to have. We'd expect Zubac to continue to start but play less than Montrezl Harrell, and he looks like a cheap double-double guy with some blocks thrown in that could be attractive in deeper formats. McGruder, picked up off waivers from Miami last season, is back on a three-year, $15 million deal and makes for a shrewd signing. He won't play as much as he did with the Heat but gives the Clippers a backup wing that's capable of stepping into more minutes if needed. His fantasy appeal is limited, though he's one to remember if injuries strike.
