The Nets have announced the signing of DeAndre Jordan.
Jordan is set to earn $40 million over the next four seasons. He's a nice complement to Jarrett Allen up front as a big body who can hold his own against large centers and grab rebounds by the handful, though we're skeptical that the 10-year vet will be able to outplay Allen consistently. Beyond that, Jordan is an excellent locker room presence that should help shepherd a young team that just had its world rocked by superstar additions. How Kenny Atkinson splits the minutes between Jordan and Allen will determine their fantasy outlooks, and a true timeshare or hot hand approach would drastically limit the appeal of both.
