Grizzlies waive three, including Ivan Rabb

The Grizzlies have waived Ivan Rabb, Miles Plumlee and Bennie Boatwright.

The most interesting name here is Rabb, who showed flashes of productivity whenever the Grizzlies were ravaged by injuries over his two seasons. The big man was once a top prospect despite his draft night slide two years back and it wouldn't be surprising to see another team take a chance on him. While Boatwright is headed to the G League, Plumlee's prospects are far murkier. There's no change to the fantasy landscape here.

Bam Adebayo

Bam Adebayo was amazing in Saturday's Game 3 loss to the Celtics, putting up 27 points (10-of-14 FG, 7-of-9 FT), 16 rebounds, one assist, three steals and two blocks in 38 minutes.

There's little to complain about with Adebayo's performance. He played well on defense and was crashing the boards like his life depended on it. He leaned on his crazy athleticism to make it happen on the offensive end, coming up with a team-high scoring effort in the process. He's going to need a lot more help, if the Heat want to close out this series before the Celtics muster any more momentum moving forward.

Marcus Smart
PG, Boston Celtics

Marcus Smart was a model of efficient shooting for the Celtics on Saturday, making 5-of-10 shots from the field and was a perfect 10-for-10 from the line for 20 points, four rebounds and six assists.

This is another quality game from Smart, whose contributions don't always pop up on the stat sheet. He saw 36 minutes on the floor tonight, but could be on his way back to the bench in the near future, potentially being replaced by Gordon Hayward (right ankle sprain), who is still working his way back to 100 percent health.

Kemba Walker
PG, Boston Celtics

Kemba Walker hit a team-high four triples on Saturday, on his way to scoring 21 points on 8-of-16 FGs with six rebounds and two assists.

Walker got some good open looks tonight, thanks to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown dominating action in the paint and giving the Heat all sorts of headaches. The Celtics' Big 3 were able to come through in this one and were playing in sync for most of the night – a formula they'll need to master if they want to even up the series in Game 4.

Gordon Hayward

Gordon Hayward quietly put up six points on 2-of-7 shooting in 31 minutes off the bench on Saturday, adding five rebounds, four assists, one triple, three steals and one block.

Don't let the low scoring output fool you, Hayward was able to make his presence felt in this game thanks to his across-the-board contributions, making him one of key difference makers that lead to the win. Of course, the biggest takeaway tonight was that he was able to play a whopping 31 minutes which is an indicator that his right ankle sprain is now in the rearview.

Jayson Tatum
SF, Boston Celtics

Jayson Tatum was beast on the glass on Saturday night, pulling down 14 rebounds to go along with his 25 points (9-of-20 FG, 5-of-5 FT), eight assists and two triples.

Jaylen Brown may have scored the most points for the team (25 points), but it was Tatum that made the biggest impact towards securing this much-needed victory. He was busting some impressive moves and was an active force in the paint, leading the Celtics with an impressive plus-23 in the +/- column. Tatum will need to replicate this performance in multiples if the Celtics are to emerge victorious in this series and advance to the NBA finals.
