• Zach LaVine
    SG, Chicago Bulls

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Bulls fired Jim Boylen on Friday and will need to find a new coach prior to the start of next season.

The new front office for the Bulls took their time in determining if they would like to stay with Boylen or if they wanted to move in a new direction. Boylen went 39-84 in his tenure with the Bulls across two partial seasons and received plenty of criticism from the media as well as fans for his approach. The team has some intriguing young talent in Wendell Carter Jr., Lauri Markkanen, Colby White, Kris Dunn, Chandler Hutchison, Denzel Valentine and Daniel Gafford as well as two young veterans in Otto Porter Jr. and Zach LaVine. Whoever they decide to hire will look to take the Bulls to the playoffs for the first time since 2017.
