Brook Lopez scored 27 points on 11-of-20 shooting (including four threes) with eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block in the Nets’ 127-122 double-overtime win against the Clippers.
This high-profile ‘do it all’ outing is a pretty nice one to sell the big man with if you’re concerned about shutdown risk late in the year or a trade moving him to less fertile ground. As we’ve mentioned many times, the 3-point shooting doesn’t really help his fantasy value but there will be plenty of big box sites that have their first beer with that. It’s probable he sits more toward the back-end of the early rounds rather than the front.
