Eric Gordon couldn’t get it going in a loss against the Heat on Tuesday, finishing with seven points (3-of-17 from the field) including one triple, one rebound, one assist and one block in 29 minutes.
Gordon left the game in the third quarter to get his right toe looked at but quickly returned and finished the game. He’s played as well as anyone off the bench this year and we could attribute the shooting performance to an off night. Tonight’s scare reminded us of Gordon’s mortality. He’s averaged 53 games played in the previous four seasons, we’re sitting at 41.
