Jamal Murray had the quiver full on Saturday night, shooting 12-of-21 from the field and 6-of-9 from deep to drop 32 points, four rebounds and two assists on the Magic in 34 minutes.
Murray just propped the sell-high window open with force. The youngster is outside the top-150 on the year and was severely overdrafted thanks to an inexplicable amount of hype. When his shot isn’t dropping, he does precious little else that can help a fantasy team out. Prior to this explosion, he had combined for 25 points in his previous four games. Murray did have a streak of three straight 20-plus performances prior to that but also has eight single digit scoring outings in 13 games this year. He’s shooting .403 on the season, and that’s not outlandish from a guy who was .404 as a rookie. Work those phones and try to capitalize on this big night.
