Jaylen Brown scored 22 points on 7-of-8 shooting with five threes, six boards and one assist over 25 minutes in the Celtics’ 113-86 win over the Kings on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Jayson Tatum scored 22 points of his own with four rebounds, two assists and a three. Both youngsters have been getting plenty of positive acclaim, but Brown’s poor percentages and in particular his free throw shooting have kept him out of the top-150. Tatum, on the other hand, has been a money counting stat machine (3.2 per game) and his percentages are great, but it’s been early and we’re definitely at the tail-end of a sell-high window.
