Kyle Kuzma scored 22 points on 7-of-15 shooting with five assists, four triples and three rebounds in 40 minutes on Tuesday in a win over the Bulls.
Kuzma drew the start and was rolling early in this one, scoring 10 points in the first quarter. He didn’t slow down much from there. His shooting efficiency has been down lately, but this is his third game in a row close to or above the 50 percent mark. Despite the flashy popcorn stats, Kuzma does little outside of score and rebound, so he is limited to late round value until that improves. The eventual return of Larry Nance Jr. further complicates the already tangled frontcourt rotation for the Lakers, so landing a reliable top-75 asset in return for Kuzma’s sizzle would be considered turning a profit.
