Kyle Kuzma scored 27 points on 9-of-15 shooting (3-of-6 from deep, 6-of-8 from the line) with 14 rebounds, two steals and one block in Friday’s loss to the Warriors.
We’ve faded Kuzma in a lot of places around here due to the deficient defensive stats and the overcrowding in the frontcourt. In the meantime he has returned top-80 value on the year and players seem to lose their value to him and not the other way around. He has been a top-50 guy over the last month and this is a very big sell-high moment. Lonzo Ball added 24 points, five boards, five assists, five threes and a block as the Lakers’ second-best rookie, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope jacked up 16 shots (making four) to finish with 10 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and a trey in the loss.
