Tyreke Evans led the Grizzlies yet again on Tuesday, going 10-for-22 from the field en route to 25 points, five rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and three triples.
While it’s been nothing but rainbows and lollipops for Evans in Memphis, there are some warning signs on the horizon for fantasy owners. For one thing, he’s posting a career-high shooting percentage despite his most volume since his first two years in the league. Secondly, he has a lengthy injury history. Thirdly, the tailspinning Grizzlies might decide to fold up shop soon. In one scenario that means fewer minutes for Evans, and in the other it means a trade for the contract-year swingman. He’s highly unlikely to get this much run on any team that acquires him, so this could be as good as it gets for Reke. You should be exploring sell high opportunities while he’s tearing it up.
