• Caris LeVert saw just 18 minutes off the bench in Saturday’s loss to the Hornets, scoring nine points on 2-of-4 shooting (5-of-6 FTs) with one rebound, four assists and two steals.

LeVert is the type of player you want to like as he’s tall at the guard slot, he’s skilled and can do a few different things with the ball.  He has put up top 130-140 value over the last 15 games in 21.5 mpg and that’s with a 51.7 percent mark from the field, which is clearly unsustainable.  He was benched for some really bad defensive plays and he’ll go through some rookie blues, while also carrying some injury risky too.  The Nets will definitely want to develop him but they have a number of similarly situated players and Jeremy Lin isn’t back yet.  As we said in our last blurb, whether or not the ROI is here on a blind stash is very much in question.
