The Vertical reported on Wednesday that Chase Budinger and the Nets have come to an agreement.
Budinger hasn’t been able to stay healthy or maintain his effectiveness throughout his career, but he does profile as a guy that could be relied upon early while young players like Sean Kilpatrick and Chris McCullough get brought up to speed. In deeper leagues where those youngsters are being targeted, this might knock them down a peg or two and put their stash status into question. As for Budinger, he should start the season on the waiver wire unless he somehow goes gangbusters in the preseason.
