Tyler Johnson scored 19 points off the bench on Saturday against the Cavs, hitting 6-of-10 shots (2-of-5 3PTS, 5-of-6 FTs) with five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 30 minutes.
Luol Deng was out and this was a blowout win so the minutes were up and the numbers were probably a little bit up. But we’ve been ringing the Tyler Johnson bell since last season and he’s one major injury away from being a big-time producer. He’s a low-end stash at this point and somebody to consider rostering sporadically if the wire doesn’t look so hot.
