Jarrett Allen scored 12 points off the bench in Friday’s blowout win over the Heat, hitting 5-of-10 shots with nine rebounds and one block in 20 minutes off the bench.
Allen has held low-end value in 14-team leagues for the last month in just 18.7 mpg, averaging 7.1 points with 4.8 boards and 1.3 blocks while hitting 89 percent of his 1.4 free throws per game. It’s hard to bank on a player getting such limited minutes, but the Nets have plenty of reason to support him and this type of value calculus definitely warrants attention from fantasy owners. He’s worth looking at as a low-to-mid level stash.
