Joffrey Lauvergne started and played nine minutes on Saturday against the Sixers, posting two points on 1-of-4 shooting with two boards, one assist and one steal, and Nikola Jokic was apparently a DNP-CD.
There were reports that Jokic was getting ice on his back but we haven’t heard a whole lot in that department. Either way, Michael Malone went to his veteran lineup with the Sixers threatening to beat the Nuggets and it didn’t look good for the two fantasy buzz guys. We like both of them but in the case of Jokic, his floor just got a lot lower as he moves closer to low-end stash than the mid-to-high level stash he has been the last two weeks. Hang onto Lauvergne as he’s still in the ‘have patience’ period following his return from a back injury.
