Kelly Olynyk played just 12 minutes on Saturday against the Spurs.
Olynyk had six points on 3-of-6 shooting with two boards, one assist and one block, but any way you slice it this type of thing is going to chase the stashers away. The key for his breakout value is a trade of Jared Sullinger, and with Celtics ownership bragging about how good Sully is it’s pretty clear they’re still trying to do that. Olynyk might have standalone value in a 25-minute role, as he’s already a top-150 guy in just 20 mpg. But with Brad Stevens’ topsy-turvy rotations you need those extra five mpg to actually feel good about using him.
