Dennis Schroder scored 13 points off the bench on Monday, hitting 4-of-10 shots (including two threes) with four rebounds, seven assists and four steals in 26 minutes.
Schroder hasn’t been able to turn the corner this season but the upside in terms of talent is there, and if Thabo Sefolosha (ankle) or other teammate goes down and forces him into this type of run he’ll have a late-round floor. It’s still a flimsy argument for a pickup because he’d need something to happen to Jeff Teague to really climb the rankings, and stashing that type of player in a 12-team league might not even pay off if he does eventually hit. Schroder also had a pad on his back to start the second half but that’s all we’ve heard about it.
