Trey Burke scored 18 points off the bench in 18 minutes on Friday against the Suns, hitting 8-of-14 shots (including two threes) with one rebound and three assists.
Burke isn’t going to produce enough across the board to matter in any normal-sized fantasy leagues but this is a story about how Burke is a Scott Perry guy and Frank Ntilikina (nine minutes) was drafted by Phil Jackson. The New York media (that doesn’t work for the team) has done a good job calling this out, but the Knicks are among the league’s dumbest franchises and they could easily decide to mess with their lottery pick. It’s a really small sample size for Burke, who has been productive, but you have to be in a deeper league or have plenty of rope to be stashing Ntilikina right now.
