Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet is reporting that Ivica Zubac and Thomas Bryant will get opportunities to play backup center minutes while Kyle Kuzma will take on more of a scoring load with Jordan Clarkson gone.
The departure of Larry Nance Jr. opens things up a little in the frontcourt and it looks like both of the promising youngsters will get a shot over Channing Frye. Zubac had flashes of value late last season but has been buried this year while Bryant was only recently called up. Both are worth monitoring in deep leagues. As for Kuzma, the departure of Clarkson should open up some extra shots for him. He’s already a fantasy mainstay but owners can look forward to a small boost going forward if things go as planned.
