Tim Hardaway Jr. led the Knicks to a big road win on Friday night in his return to the starting lineup, knocking down 11-of-17 from the field for 31 points to go with six triples, five rebounds and three assists.
Hardaway had been coming off the bench since being cleared from his tibia stress reaction and wasn’t bad by any means — he just wasn’t this good. He buried some big shots late in the game to put things just out of reach for the Jazz and the Knicks are a much more dangerous team with a second shot-making threat. THJ is going to post middle-round value this season and is set to make a fool out of anyone who laughed at the contract New York sent his way last summer.
