James Johnson scored 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting (including four threes) with five rebounds, two steals and one block in Friday’s loss to the Lakers.
You probably added Johnson one or twice or tens of times throughout the year, noting the money counting stats and general ability to fill up a box score. And then all sorts of guh happened and you would pitch him back to the wire, noting that you’d never do it again only to totally do it again. By now you’ve been conditioned to not believe he can play more than 25 mpg and that eventually the guh will catch up with him. But it’s Miami. And they’re tanking. And this might be the best fit for a James Johnson that we’ve seen, well, ever. Hopefully you didn’t wait until it was painfully obvious.
