The Wizards picked up a road win without John Wall on Sunday as the Raptors had no answer for Bradley Beal, who dropped 38 points on 16-of-26 shooting to go with five rebounds, four assists, four triples and a steal.
Beal was sensational, hitting a number of tough shots and personally stomping out a late push from Toronto. He drew a number of defenders but couldn’t be stopped, getting to his spots on the floor and converting with ease. He also made a few nice passes to open shooters once the Raptors loaded up to stop him, and his growth over these past two years has been a joy to watch. Beal was fantastic on a night where the Wizards needed someone to step up in a major way and he most certainly delivered. He’s a surefire top-40 option.
