C.J. McCollum scored 26 points on 10-of-20 shooting (including four threes) with seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and two blocks in Thursday’s blowout loss to the Spurs.
McCollum got to beat up on the Spurs’ second unit and it also helped that Damian Lillard (23 points, 7-of-19 FGs) not only had a bad chest cold, but he also got the Kawhi Leonard treatment. McCollum has slid lately so this was a much-needed big night for him, but questions still remain as to whether or not he can maintain his absurd efficiency after a year of doing so much more than he has done in the past.
