Carmelo Anthony scored 26 points on 12-of-26 shooting (including two threes) with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in Saturday’s loss to the Jazz.
Russell Westbrook hit just 2-of-11 shots for six points, 13 boards, nine assists, two steals and seven turnovers as he’s clearly trying to get the new guys involved (with sloppy results). This is a bona fide sell-high moment for Anthony since his value is over-inflated anyway and conversely it’s a buy low moment for Westy. Paul George added 22 points, three treys, five rebounds, two assists and five steals to go with six turnovers of his own.
