Clint Capela scored 14 points and pulled down 20 rebounds in Wednesday’s victory over the Sixers.
Capela was able to play 31 minutes and went an efficient 7-for-9 from the field and a perfect 2-for-2 from the line. The big man was all over the floor and swatted four shots to complete his monster line. He can play and Coach Mike D’Antoni wants him to, but it’s all up to whether or not he can stay on the floor without fouling. On defense he’s making a noticeable effort to stay away from silly fouls and bodied up Joel Embiid. All signs point towards a breakout year.
