Damian Lillard scored 25 points on Monday against the Nuggets, adding eight assists, two boards and four triples but missed a free throw late in the fourth quarter on a huge and-one play.
Lillard could have put the Blazers up by three but instead on the next play down Jamal Murray had his own three-point play which he converted to put the Nuggets up for good. Lillard is locked and loaded as a top-12 contributor in both 8 and 9-cat leagues and has a tendency to get his hottest after the All Star break. Don’t sell Lillard for anything less than a top-10 player.
