D’Angelo Russell had the breakout moment of his career in the Lakers’ 107-101 win over the Nets on Tuesday, setting career-highs all over the place with 39 points on 14-of-21 shooting, eight threes, six boards, three assists and a steal.
Russell set highs in points, field goals made (14) and treys just off the top of our heads. Hopefully you bought low a few weeks ago and if you held on congratulations for your patience. There will be some bumps in the road whenever Kobe plays, particularly at the end of the year, but hopefully they’ll be in the final week of the season and not right in the middle of your fantasy playoffs. Jordan Clarkson enjoyed Kobe’s night off with 16 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, and Julius Randle went for 14 and 13 with a steal in yet another low-end standard league performance.
