DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry both scored 28 points a piece in Thursday’s road win over the Pacers.
DeRozan hit just 9-of-26 shots but as usual went big from the line (10-of-12 FTs) to go with five boards, three assists and a block in his 44 minutes. Kyle Lowry hit 8-of-21 shots (4-of-11 3PTs, 8-of-9 FTs) with eight rebounds, four assists and three steals in his 43 minutes. For all the talk of rest the Raps are playing like a team that wants the No. 1 seed and they should definitely be thinking like that (we’ve predicted they’ll get it for months). That said, Lowry hasn’t gotten his rest yet and both will be candidates for time off until we stop hearing Raptors reporters talking like that.
