DeMar DeRozan was nearly untouchable in Friday’s 111-100 win over the Pacers, shooting 11-of-26 on his way to another 40 point night.
DeRozan added nine rebounds, four assists, a steal and three triples while only turning the ball over three times. DDR did his usual damage from the charity stripe as well, hitting 15 of his 20 free throws. He was out to exercise some demons from last year’s first round tonight, drilling some shots in Paul George’s eye and proving that he’s ascended to the next level as a scorer. DeRozan also tied Vince Carter’s franchise record with his 30th 30 point game of the season. A fourth round guy on the year, DeRozan has made tremendous strides in his game and turned a tidy profit for owners this year.
