DeMar DeRozan scored 34 points on 13-of-25 shooting (8-of-9 FTs) with two rebounds, six assists and one steal in the Raptors’ 115-109 win over the Celtics on Wednesday.
DeRozan missed his only 3-point attempt and that was obviously the issue dragging down his value on draft day, but savvy owners were able to see the development in his game and he has been able to produce at an early-round level. His shooting numbers are up and may be unsustainable, but it’s not a blind sell-high moment. Getting a healthy top-60 player in return seems mandatory.
