DeMarcus Cousins scored 22 points on 4-of-10 shooting (1-of-1 3PTs, 13-of-15 FTs) with eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and four blocks in Tuesday’s sloppy win over the Lakers.
This was a terrible game to watch and anybody gleaning anything from it is not doing it right. The Lakers were awful, the Kings were awful and somehow Cousins still managed to put up a massive line despite the team not really going to him for much of the game. If it were any team other than the Lakers the Kings’ incoherent approach to both sides of the ball would have probably resulted in a blowout loss. Rudy Gay added 20 points on 9-of-16 shooting with eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block in the win.
