Dirk Nowitzki scored 25 points on 10-of-17 shooting (including two threes) with 10 rebounds, three assists and one steal in the Mavs’ 102-96 home loss to the Pistons on Wednesday.
The Mavs continue to free-fall and that should be music to fantasy owners’ ears, as they will continue to play their core guys as much as possible down the stretch. Chandler Parsons continued to roll with 25 points on 11-of-20 shooting (including three treys) with four rebounds and six assists, and Deron Williams put up eight points on 3-of-13 shooting with five rebounds, nine assists and one block. Wesley Matthews scored 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting (including two threes) with one rebound and one steal in the loss. Matthews has been playing above the cut line in 12-team formats lately so owners should probably hang on unless he starts to slip for an extended period of time.
